How We Made Our Mark
A new standard for sustainability was set with the Pier, featuring an ultra-efficient hydrothermal heating utility that heats and cools the Sidney Pier Hotel & Residences and the Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre. The Pier also benefits the entire community, funding the creation of Beacon Park, the Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre and a new tourist centre building.
